All DIGITAL Weeks campaign 2025

Organised by All Digital Network, the All Digital Weeks campaign is one of the major pan-European awareness raising campaigns on digital skills for inclusion, empowerment and employment. All Digital Weeks 2025 will run over 3 weeks from 17 March until 4 April 2025. The campaign will be supported by the European Commission, involve international and national partners, and participating organisations in different European countries.

Worldwide celebrations for Safer Internet Day 2025

Highlights from this year’s Safer Internet DayThe 22nd edition of Safer Internet Day was once again packed with new initiatives and activities. First of all, this edition has a completely new appearance: as part of the wider redevelopment of the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) platform, there’s now a brand new Safer Internet Day website, and more importantly, a new SID mascot, Ally!

The first BIK+ strategy evaluation

On Wednesday, 11 May 2022, the European Commission adopted a new European strategy for a Better Internet for Kids (BIK+), which aims to improve age-appropriate digital services and ensure that every child is protected, empowered, and respected online.

Safer Internet Centres celebrate SID 2025: Italy

The Safer Internet Centre proposed a hybrid edition of Safer Internet Day for this year, organising a live event followed by schools also streaming the event. A communication campaign was launched alongside the release of the third season of the We Are Fearless web series videos, giving all schools in the area the opportunity to interact and promote their events through the Generazioni Connesse website.

Safer Internet Centres celebrate SID 2025: The Netherlands

First, Offlimits organised an event as the official Kick Off of Safer Internet Day with our Youth Panel. On the 4 February, they organised a network event for stakeholders on the topic of age assurance. We invited various speakers. Simone van der Hof, a professor at Leiden University and an expert on the topic of age assurance, opened the event with a session on what age assurance possibilities exist and what it should look like when considering children’s rights.

In just a few years, artificial intelligence has evolved from something difficult to imagine to a technology that is now very present in our lives, including the lives of young people who have quickly discovered it for themselves. Teachers are also showing great interest in using it in their schoolwork. However, we do not talk enough about the risks involved, and these were at the centre of activities to mark Internet Safety Day.
